Dr. Brian Grosam is an internationally trained acupuncturist, educator, author, and researcher whose career has been devoted to advancing the practice and understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After earning his Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Minnesota, Brian completed his PhD in Acupuncture at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. During his studies abroad, he treated patients, and worked within one of China's leading teaching hospitals, gaining invaluable clinical experience in gynecology, neurology, and integrative Chinese medicine while immersing himself in the language and culture.

Following his return to Minnesota, Brian served as a faculty member at the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, where he taught future acupuncturists for several years. His passion for education has continued throughout his career as he has developed online continuing education courses, lectured at professional conferences, and presented nationally and internationally on topics including menopause, fertility, and the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern healthcare.

Dr. Grosam is the author of Understanding and Treating Hot Flashes in Menopause with Chinese Medicine, the first book devoted exclusively to this subject. His work has helped practitioners around the world better understand the treatment of menopausal symptoms through an evidence-informed approach that bridges classical Chinese medicine with contemporary Western medical knowledge.

As an instructor, Brian is known for making complex concepts approachable, practical, and clinically relevant. Whether teaching acupuncture professionals, wellness practitioners, or students new to Chinese medicine, he is passionate about helping others build confidence, think critically, and develop skills they can immediately apply in practice.

Brian's trainings reflect the same values that have guided his clinical career—curiosity, integrity, lifelong learning, and a deep respect for both the tradition and the evolving future of Chinese medicine.

Pamela Grosam is an educator, yoga teacher, intuitive healer, and founder of Two Rivers with nearly three decades of experience in the healing arts.

Her journey began through the study of Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she developed a deep appreciation for the body's innate wisdom and its remarkable capacity to heal. Over the years, that foundation has expanded to include more than 700 hours of yoga training with advanced study in Yin Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, and embodied movement, alongside Reiki, sound healing, Tai Chi, crystal therapy, and intuitive healing practices.

Known for creating experiences that are both deeply grounded and profoundly transformative, Pamela weaves ancient wisdom together with modern healing practices, inviting students to cultivate presence, trust their intuition, and embody what they learn.

In 2024, Pamela developed Acu Meridi-Yin Yoga®, an original approach that integrates Yin Yoga, acupressure, and Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian theory into one cohesive practice. Today, she teaches both Yin Yoga and Acu Meridi-Yin Yoga through Yoga Alliance-approved continuing education programs, empowering yoga teachers and practitioners to deepen their understanding of the energetic body while bringing greater intention and therapeutic awareness into their practice.

Beyond the classroom, Pamela also guides transformational women's retreats where ritual, movement, meditation, sound, and time in nature come together to create sacred spaces for healing, reflection, and remembrance.
